Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our growing team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This requires a strong focus on detail, efficiency, and accuracy. You will work within a dynamic warehouse environment, utilizing various tools and equipment to fulfill orders. The Picker/Packer position is essential to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their correct items in a timely manner. A commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order sheets or scanning devices.
• Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
• Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
• Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all items are correctly stored.
• Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
• Follow all company Logistics and operational procedures.
• Adhere to all Safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE .
• Report any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions immediately.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
• Willingness to wear required PPE , such as safety vests and gloves.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with barcode scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
