Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
Our Jacksonville, Florida distribution center is looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and meticulously preparing them for shipment, ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. We emphasize efficiency, accuracy, and most importantly, **safety** in all our operations. This position is crucial to our **logistics** process and offers a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products based on order sheets or scanner prompts.
• Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
• Package items securely and appropriately for transit, ensuring product integrity.
• Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and **safety**-compliant work area.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, as needed.
• Meet or exceed established productivity and quality targets.
• Adhere to all company **safety** policies and wear required **PPE**.
• Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse **logistics** flow.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
• Ability to read and understand picking instructions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Must be able to perform **lifting** of up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Willingness to wear and use all mandated **PPE**.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of warehouse **logistics**.
• Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
