Picker/Packer

Job Summary:

As a Picker/Packer, you will play a critical role in our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from inventory based on order sheets or scanner data.
• Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
• Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping, utilizing correct packaging materials.
• Label packages accurately with shipping information.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies and Safety guidelines, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Meet productivity targets for picking and packing.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring physical dexterity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic reading and counting skills.
• Willingness to follow Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Understanding of basic logistics principles is a plus.
