Job Summary:
We are hiring an Order Picker for our busy distribution center in Denver, Colorado. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanners, verifying the accuracy of picked items, and preparing them for packing and shipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be expected to maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all company safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The position involves a significant amount of movement throughout the warehouse, including bending, stooping, and frequent Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory movements and verify order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before fulfilling orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and warehouse aisles.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking goals and improving logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving frequent walking, bending, and Lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures.
- Commitment to wearing and utilizing PPE.
- Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
