Job Summary:
Become an Order Picker on our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and play a crucial role in our logistics operations. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently retrieve items from our warehouse shelves based on customer orders. This requires a strong focus on detail, speed, and accuracy to meet fulfillment targets. You will utilize RF scanners and other equipment to locate and pick items. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount, and all Order Pickers must adhere to strict Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE. We are seeking motivated individuals who are reliable, have good stamina for prolonged standing and movement, and can handle tasks involving regular Lifting. Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous, but we are committed to providing thorough training to successful candidates. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Use RF scanners and other technology to locate and retrieve products.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking path and workspace.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Meet established picking quotas and performance standards.
- Assist with inventory checks as needed.
- Practice safe Lifting and material handling techniques.
- Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during picking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of products up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina for walking, standing, and bending.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
