Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order slips and scanning devices.
- Ensure correct item quantities and product codes are selected.
- Place picked items into designated containers or onto carts for transport.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping aisles clear.
- Operate pallet jacks or other manual equipment as needed.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking or quality checks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Contribute to team goals for productivity and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and product labels.
- Familiarity with RF scanners or similar technology is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent bending, walking, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
