Job Summary:
Join our bustling fulfillment center in Chicago, Illinois, as a Fulfillment Associate! We are looking for energetic individuals to help us efficiently process customer orders. Your role will involve picking, packing, and shipping a variety of products. This is a hands-on position where accuracy and speed are essential. You'll be a key player in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. We pride ourselves on a culture of teamwork and Safety. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment and possess a keen eye for detail. Daily tasks include using RF scanners to locate inventory, carefully packing items to prevent damage, and labeling packages for shipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of your workstation and the surrounding areas. We require all associates to wear provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure their well-being. Significant amount of Lifting will be involved, often up to 50 pounds. Understanding basic Logistics principles is beneficial. This position offers opportunities for advancement for dedicated employees. - Inspect and pack items carefully to ensure product integrity.
- Label packages and prepare them for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Replenish inventory in picking areas.
- Conduct quality checks on products and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to Safety guidelines and wear all required PPE.
- Contribute to team goals and efficient warehouse operations.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
