Job Summary:
Join our expanding logistics operations in Boston, Massachusetts, as a Picker/Packer. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and efficient preparation of customer orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and quality before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials (boxes, fillers, tape) for shipment.
- Assemble boxes and package items securely and efficiently.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station and warehouse environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to ensure smooth order flow.
- Report any issues with inventory, equipment, or safety concerns.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Proficiency with RF scanning equipment is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capacity for consistent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to following all logistics and safety protocols.
- Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic.
