Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanner.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) as required.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation and work area.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Contribute to team goals and support colleagues to ensure smooth workflow in logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in order fulfillment or warehouse operations is an advantage.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
- Capability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and logistics best practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts if needed.
