Picker/Packer

You will be responsible for locating specific items in the warehouse, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using pick lists or handheld scanners.
• Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
• Inspect products for any defects or damage prior to packing.
• Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
• Label packages correctly for shipment.
• Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with inventory control tasks such as cycle counting.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, utilizing required PPE.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse role is beneficial.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
• Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
