Join our team in Baltimore, Maryland as an Order Picker/Packer! Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications using scanning devices or pick lists.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Carefully package picked items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label packages accurately for shipment, including all necessary carrier information.
- Prepare orders for shipment, staging them in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed, following all safety guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to inventory control by reporting any discrepancies or stock issues.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily picking and packing goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory management is a plus.
- Willingness to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
