This is a hands-on, high-impact Financial Controller reporting directly to the CFO. Youll lead and modernize the accounting function while maintaining day-to-day rigor in a high-volume, inventory-driven environment. This is not a just close the books role its about strengthening the financial backbone of the business and supporting smarter, scalable growth.
What Youll Own Lead the full accounting function (team of 10+ across AP, AR, GL, controls) Drive timely month-end and year-end close with precision and discipline Own cash management, working capital strategy, and forecasting Partner with the CFO on budgeting, FP&A, and executive decision support Improve and scale systems, reporting, and processes (ERP: Prophet 21, Power BI) Support growth initiatives including expansion, capex, and M&A-related projects
What Were Looking For CPA required (active or inactive) 1015+ years of progressive accounting experience 5+ years in a Controller or senior supervisory role Experience managing $500M$1B+ revenue businesses Background in construction supply, building materials, wholesale distribution, construction equipment, or similar industries Strong AP/AR leadership and cash management background Hands-on leader who can roll up sleeves and lead through scale ERP experience (Prophet 21 / Epicor / NetSuite / SAP a plus)
