Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist located in Stonewall, LA. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications, providing advice on proper medication use, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety protocols. The role also involves offering exceptional patient care by counseling customers on their health conditions, treatments, and prescriptions.
Qualifications Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, medical terminology, and drug interactions Experience with inventory management, record-keeping, and pharmacy operations Excellent communication and customer service skills to provide patient education and counseling Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team and oversee pharmacy staff Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring regulatory compliance and safety Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Louisiana Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent education Experience working in retail pharmacy or healthcare settings is a plus
