Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Pharmacist located in Owen County, KY. The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling on prescription and over-the-counter medications, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, and ensuring compliance with pertinent regulations. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with healthcare providers, managing inventory, and advising on health and wellness solutions for the community. The pharmacist will also supervise pharmacy technicians and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications Proficient in prescription review, medication dispensing, and patient counseling Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements Familiarity with inventory management and the ability to oversee pharmacy operations Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals and team members effectively Licensed as a pharmacist in the state of Kentucky A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent qualification is required Prior experience in a community pharmacy setting is advantageous
