Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in an ambulatory recovery room, requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) certifications and a FL or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
* Work in an ambulatory recovery room (PACU) setting
* Patient care focuses on post-anesthesia recovery
* 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts from 06:00 to 18:30
* On-call required: within a 6-week period, 4 weeknights, 2 weekend days, and 2 weekend night shift calls
* One major and one minor holiday call shift required if holiday falls on scheduled shift
* Responsible for the care and monitoring of patients recovering from anesthesia
* Must provide two professional references
* RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included with initial application
* Holiday call coverage may be required if a major or minor holiday falls during scheduled shifts
* Local candidates are accepted but may receive a reduced rate based on facility radius rules
* First time travelers may be considered
Requirements
* Active FL RN license or compact RN license required
* Minimum of 1 year PACU experience required
* Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
* Nursys license verification and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
* Must possess a US Social Security Number and US home address
* Copy of driver's license required for consideration
