Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU Recovery position with night shifts and strict holiday requirements.
Responsibilities- Work in the Recovery (PACU) unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Must be willing to work at least 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Returning staff must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered as a traveler
- All requested time off must be submitted up front
- Returning employees must live more than 50 miles from the facility
Requirements- Current GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Will consider candidates with strong acute care RN experience
