Why We Need You Within our team framework, you will initially work with and be mentored by experienced engineers and will mentor designers. Your initial assignments will include performing load calculations, determining system sizing and layouts, calculating equipment sizes, selecting equipment, completing field surveys, and reviewing equipment shop drawings.
Responsibilities
Perform load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection for mechanical building systems.
Conduct field surveys, complete shop drawings, and review equipment drawings.
Write mechanical specifications and support construction-phase work.
Participate in project meetings with clients and consultants.
Lead mechanical project teams as experience grows.
Expertise Of Our Most Successful Mechanical Engineer I
BSME/BSAE from an ABET accredited school.
Minimum GPA of 2.5.
Non-academic internship.
Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations preferred.
EIT certification (FE exam passed) a plus.
Internship experience in the MEP consulting engineering field preferred.
