The Tax Senior Manager – Private Client will serve as a trusted tax business advisor, delivering industry‑specific federal tax compliance and consulting services, building client relationships, and driving firm growth in the Los Angeles region. Responsibilities

Lead client relationships on day‑to‑day tax matters for middle‑market and multinational clients. Provide federal tax compliance and consulting services, consulting on technical matters and special projects in corporate and flow‑through taxation, accounting methods, ASC 740, and state/local, high‑net‑worth, international, R&D, credits, and incentives. Research tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries, and make recommendations to clients. Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex tax matters. Manage engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met. Network and build relationships internally and externally to acquire new clients, projects, and revenue. Invest in professional development individually and through firm learning programs. Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, or a similar business degree; masters or advanced degree desirable. CPA or JD required. Eight (8)+ years of federal tax compliance and consulting experience in a professional services firm. Five (5)+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates. Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills. Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred. Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $145,000 to $257,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Equal Opportunity
