Salary $100,000 - $140,000 per year

Job Details Responsibilities

Review complex U.S. and multi-state income tax returns for business entities, including C-corporations, S-corporations, and partnerships

Review complex U.S. and state individual income, gift tax, trust, and estate tax returns

Review and manage deliverables, including tax returns, extensions, tax planning calculations, and workpapers for all entity types

Conduct complex tax research for clients across diverse industries and prepare technical memoranda summarizing findings and conclusions

Manage multiple client relationships while clearly explaining complex tax concepts

Oversee preparation and review of sophisticated tax plans and projections for individuals, partnerships, and corporations

Research tax law implications and provide strategic tax advice to clients

Mentor and train associates and peers

Delegate tasks efficiently to staff and offer accounting and tax support as needed

Draft engagement letters outlining services to be provided

Respond to IRS and state agency audits, inquiries, and notices

Serve as clients’ primary tax contact, delivering expertise and customized tax strategies

Actively pursue business development opportunities and cultivate a professional network

Qualifications

Minimum 6–8 years of public accounting experience with a focus on taxation

Active CPA certification

At least 3 years reviewing all types of tax returns

3+ years of supervisory experience

Advanced written and verbal communication skillsStrong project and client management capabilities

Proven ability to give and receive constructive criticism

Deep technical proficiency in accounting and tax
