Requirements: Minimum 2 years of ERISA litigation experience within a large law firm setting (experience will be current or very recent); Experience handling various ERISA disputes including benefits, fiduciary duty, and retaliation; Exposure to complex class action lawsuits.
Stellar academic credentials (Law Review and/or Moot Court accolades desired); Strong research, verbal & written communication skills, and analytic skills required; Texas Bar.
Day to Day Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Representing a diverse clientele including fiduciaries, trustees, plan administrators, investment advisers and institutional investors.
Aiding in the full spectrum of ERISA lawsuits across the U.S. and internationally.
Drafting pleadings and motions.
Conducting legal research on employee benefits and related laws.
Representing employers and providers.
Supporting case strategy and client communication.
Handling disputes over benefits, fiduciary duty, and class actions.
Participating in discovery processes like depositions and document review.
