Established firm in Downtown Chicago is seeking an Attorney with 2-10 years of experience in workers' compensation / personal injury law on the plaintiff side to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of these areas, strong analytical and communication skills, and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for their clients.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of predominantly workers' compensation cases from initial consultation through resolution.

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.

Represent clients in negotiations, depositions, and court appearances.

Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies and prepare for hearings.

Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and address their concerns.

Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to offer accurate and effective legal advice.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Admitted to practice law in IL.

1 to 10 years of experience handling personal injury cases on the plaintiff side.

Comprehensive knowledge of IL legal procedures and regulations in these areas.

Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
