Job Description An employer is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team remotely (working EST hours). This person will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across IT and labor categories, optimizing supplier performance, and driving cost efficiencies. This role requires deep expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, and category planning within a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for IT (hardware, software, SaaS, infrastructure) and labor categories (consulting, contingent workforce, professional services).

Develop and manage category strategies, including spend analysis, supplier segmentation, and risk mitigation.

Partner with internal stakeholders (IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Operations) to align procurement goals with business needs.

Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure service quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

Monitor supplier performance and category KPIs; implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Leverage Power BI and dashboard tools to analyze procurement data, track category performance, and generate actionable insights for sourcing decisions.

Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting IT and labor sourcing.

Compensation 40‑60/hr per hour. Compensation may vary based on skill, experience, and education.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and category management, preferably in healthcare technology or related industries.

Experience working with IT and labor sourcing.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.

Proficiency in procurement systems (SAP Ariba, Coupa) and data analysis tools.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Managed Services sourcing experience.
