Lead Test Engineer
Perform Design Verification on software and perform essential engineering duties in planning and designing products.
Responsibilities
Perform software regression analysis.
Create both manual and automated test systems, with a focus on manual testing.
Conduct interface and requirements analysis.
Utilize software test tools such as SQL, Python, and Postman.
Develop content for design reviews.
Execute design verification tests and write design verification protocols.
Work with web and mobile products.
Coordinate and execute Design Verification Test (DVT) protocols and prepare test summary reports.
Provide technical feedback and innovative ideas to the design engineering team based on test findings to drive continuous improvement.
Participate in and contribute to technical design reviews and other activities throughout the design phase.
Essential Skills
Experience in requirements gathering and validation.
Proficiency in creating test procedures and test plans.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment Work involves utilizing technologies such as SQL, Python, and Postman. The role requires collaboration with the design engineering team and participation in technical design reviews. The environment supports innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices.
Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Golden Valley, MN.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $80.00/hr.
