Join Titus Regional Medical Center as a Nocturnist. Titus Regional Medical Center is a 174‑bed, Joint Commission accredited acute care facility and Level III Trauma Center in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
Position Summary Provide inpatient care during overnight shifts, managing admissions, emergencies, and patient progress. Conduct initial assessments, make clinical decisions, coordinate with medical and nursing staff, and document patient interactions in the electronic health record.
Essential Functions
Oversee and manage the care of hospitalized patients during the overnight shift.
Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and provide comprehensive assessments and treatment.
Handle SDU and ICU admissions with ventilator management.
Manage Med/Surge admissions with night calls.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Work a continuous schedule of 7 on and 7 off.
Utilize Epic EHR system‑wide.
No procedures required.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety.
Adhere to departmental policies, quality improvement objectives, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with federal and state privacy laws.
Manage stress while maintaining composure.
Follow and adhere to TRMC vaccine policy mandated by CMS.
Work Experience
Two to eight years of experience in the medical field preferred.
Education
MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
Texas medical license, or ability to obtain one.
