Supervisor, Employee Relations
Remote role with up to 30 percent travel
Salary 120k
This role is ideal for an experienced Employee Relations leader who thrives in complex environments, enjoys coaching teams, and brings strong judgment to high risk situations. You will lead ER strategy and execution across a large healthcare organization while partnering closely with HR and Legal.
What You Will Do • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Employee Relations Partners • Own and execute the ER strategy ensuring consistency, compliance, and best practices • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex and high priority ER cases • Partner closely with legal counsel on investigations, terminations, and risk mitigation • Oversee ER operations including case management, prioritization, and documentation standards • Manage ER data, reporting, and trend analysis using Workday and EthicsPoint • Review involuntary terminations and ensure proper documentation and approvals • Design and deliver ER training for HR and leadership • Consult with leaders on performance issues and guide PIPs to resolution
Key Skills and Expertise • Deep knowledge of employment law and employee relations best practices • Proven experience leading ER investigations and managing sensitive cases • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills • Ability to influence and advise leaders in a matrixed healthcare environment • Excellent judgment, conflict resolution, and decision making skills • High emotional intelligence and strong communication abilities • Experience working with ER systems such as Workday and EthicsPoint
Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field • 5 plus years of Human Resources experience with 3 to 5 years focused on Employee Relations • Prior people leadership experience strongly preferred • Healthcare industry experience preferred • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Work Environment • Remote position with travel up to 30 percent • Work may take place in office, clinical, and travel settings
