Local Candidates Only) Hybrid: 2 days remote | 3 days onsite (Mon & Wed required) Long-term contract Job Summary We are seeking a

Senior DevOps Engineer

to design, build, and maintain

cloud-native solutions on AWS . This role focuses on

automation, CI/CD pipeline development, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and operational excellence

to support scalable, secure, and reliable application delivery. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with

AWS services, containerization, CI/CD tooling, and monitoring/observability , and can collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams. Local candidates only

50 miles of Austin, TX . No relocation or out-of-state candidates will be considered. Key Responsibilities Design and implement

cloud-native architectures

using AWS services Build, maintain, and optimize

CI/CD pipelines

for automated testing and deployments Develop

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation Implement

monitoring, logging, and observability

solutions to ensure system reliability Collaborate with

development, security, and operations

teams to enforce DevOps best practices Drive

automation initiatives

to reduce manual effort and improve scalability and performance Support deployment, release management, and environment stability across cloud platforms Required Qualifications 8+ years of DevOps experience Strong hands-on experience with

AWS services : EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC Expertise in

CI/CD tools : Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline Strong experience with

Infrastructure as Code : Terraform, AWS CloudFormation Hands-on experience with

Docker and Kubernetes Experience with

monitoring and logging tools : CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack Strong

Linux administration

skills Proficiency in

scripting

(Python, Bash) Solid experience with

Git and version control workflows Preferred Qualifications Experience with

observability platforms

(Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) Knowledge of

performance tuning and high-availability architectures Experience with

serverless and event-driven architectures Prior experience supporting

enterprise or government environments Work Environment Hybrid schedule:

2 days remote / 3 days onsite Onsite presence required in
