Primary Services is excited to announce the role of
Treasury Analyst
for a leading company in the chemical manufacturing sector. As a
Treasury Analyst , you will manage day-to-day treasury operations, including payments, collections, and banking transactions, while working closely with the Treasury Manager, EU Treasury, and VP of Finance. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your treasury expertise to support global financial operations and optimize processes across a complex corporate environment.
Responsibilities: Process vendor payments, including wires, ACH, and checks, following internal approval protocols. Resolve ACH, wire, and check rejections in collaboration with banks. Maintain and perform online payments with requesting departments. Ensure internal controls to prevent errors or fraudulent payments. Update and maintain accounts receivable aging reports weekly and perform dunning operations as needed. Review customer payments and ensure accurate application. Organize and lead monthly sales collections meetings to review accounts receivable balances. Reconcile cash flow and daily banking transactions using Treasury Tool (TM5). Monitor credit hold situations and authorize releases when appropriate. Perform month-end close activities, account reconciliations, cash clearing, and adjusting entries. Reconcile inter-company accounts and execute netting activities as required. Prepare cash forecasts, treasury analysis reports, and finance cost analyses. Compile monthly credit management reporting packages. Process incoming check receipts and deposits at bank branches. Direct letters of credit to the appropriate customer relations and sales representatives. Develop and implement process improvements and automation initiatives within treasury operations.
Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of treasury experience. Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. Proficiency in SAP and treasury tools (e.g., TM5). Experience in credit management and treasury analysis. Prior exposure to banking operations, CRA processes, and credit insurance is a plus. Experience in the oil & gas or manufacturing industries is advantageous. Solid understanding of credit management principles. Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
