About the Job Business Ownership

Leads the retail team in achieving daily/weekly/monthly sales goals in addition to meeting store financial plans through use of strong decision‑making skills with a primary focus on driving employee engagement and a collaborative selling environment.

Can effectively assess and strategize how to drive performance goals (Conversion, Units Per Transaction, Sales Per Hour and other measurable KPI’s)

Able to utilize company tools and resources to assess the business and put into action a plan to celebrate wins and address areas of opportunity

Team Management

Recruit and make hiring, pay and termination decisions for all levels of store personnel including members of store management; strong history of hiring and developing amazing talent

Manage employee relations issues including but not limited to coaching and conflict resolution and ensuring all associates follow Beyond Yoga and LSCo Operational Excellence policies and procedures

Facilitate onboarding and training processes for new hires on Beyond Yoga culture, product knowledge, selling culture, and other employee responsibilities

Coach staff to increase their knowledge, providing opportunities for continued development; create succession plans for developing associates for promotion

In Store Experience + Operations

Achieve payroll plan through managing store schedules, monitoring labor costs and adapting to business conditions based on weekly and monthly sales; plan payroll/scheduling based on store traffic to ensure the store is staffed to assist customers

Ensure sound inventory management through an accurate receiving and sending merchandise process, completing all required business directives such as price change and ticketing procedures; prevent loss by educating associates on customer service, monitoring daily store activity, ensuring company policies are followed and partnering with Home Office partners as needed

Perform store visual standards following visual merchandising direction, accomplishing product presentation; make decisions about and adaptations to visual merchandising direction based on the lay out and needs of the store; ensure product is displayed in a manner which tells a story through styling and is compelling to the customer

Maintain appropriate levels of product on the sales floor by planning and directing floor replenishment

Create a compelling store experience for customers by engaging and modeling appropriate selling and service behaviors to associates

Community and Culture

Builds relationships naturally, embraces individuality and fosters a culture of diversity and inclusion

Collaborate with store team and Home Office partners on building connections with the local community and contributing to the execution of inspiring events to drive brand engagement as needed

A brand ambassador that embodies and can cultivate the company’s core values

About You

Progressive retail leadership experience and proven skills in supervising, coaching and training

Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend and holiday shifts

Ability to perform all essential job functions and able to lift up to 40 pounds. While performing the duties of the job the employee may be required to stand, walk, kneel, squat, crouch, bend, stoop, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, to type, reach overhead, and climb ladders. The salary range for this role is $59,900.00 – $99,800.00 annually. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
