Director of Systemwide Radiation Safety Program
The full salary range for the Director, Systemwide Radiation Safety Program is $114,300 - $220,900 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Serves as the UC system-wide technical expert in the development and implementation of Radiation Safety programs. Represents EH&S regarding the field/discipline at meetings and conferences involving academic compliance committees, campus, system-wide, local government, state and federal levels of authority in matters related to the field of expertise. Decision-making is based on established procedures and integration/interpretation of relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policy; professional best practices; relevant science methodology, impact on other EH&S programs; and senior management approvals. Decisions may impact other EH&S programs, departments, segments of the organization, and/or organization-wide. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
