What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines
Conduct accident and incident investigations, identifying lessons learned to prevent future occurrences
Develop and manage safety programs to reduce personal injuries and vehicle accidents
Perform safety and compliance audits for branches and customer sites
Provide leadership and training to promote a positive safety culture across the organization
What is Required (Qualifications):
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of five years of safety experience in an industrial and/or distribution setting
Thorough knowledge of DOT and OSHA rules and regulations
Thorough knowledge of Canadian HSEQ and Transport Canada rules and regulations
Proficiency in Google Suite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
Previous experience with welding-related products
CSP/CRSP or related safety certifications
