Job Summary
Under moderate supervision of senior managers, the Senior Analyst will perform a wide range of activities to support the team’s efforts in identifying and screening new investment managers and conduct monitoring and benchmarking analysis of managers’ performance. The Senior Analyst will meet with leading investors from around the world and directly impact the financial foundation of the institution. This position has the ability to work remotely on Fridays, unless needed in the office for on-site manager visits.
Responsibilities
Assist the team in investment analysis to drive decisions in a diversified global portfolio. Source, research, analyze, and conduct due diligence of external investment managers; meet with managers, conduct rigorous quantitative/risk analysis, review reports and letters, attend meetings and debate investment theses. Prepare data‑driven investment memos recommending compelling investments. Research, prepare, and write memos and presentations on market trends, evaluate risks, and recommend enhancements to portfolio returns. Collaborate on projects such as liquidity analysis, fee/term analysis, portfolio company metrics, and portfolio exposures; write meeting notes and track investment information. Maintain networks with institutional peers and managers to stay informed on investment trends. Collaborate with team members in other asset classes to share best practices and refine reporting processes. Interface with Risk and Investment Operations teams to investigate and resolve issues promptly. Represent the University at meetings with managers, peers, and industry events. Prepare exhibits for presentation to the management team and Investment Committee. Focus on a primary asset class and gain exposure to others via scheduled analyst rotation. Source and perform due diligence of potential new investments; perform industry analysis to determine investment attractiveness. Perform other related work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Minimum required degree in a related field. Work Experience:
2‑5 years of relevant work experience in an investment discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Coursework in finance, economics, or accounting; work toward an MBA. Certifications:
Work toward a CFA designation.
Technical Skills or Knowledge
Bloomberg, Cambridge Associates data, and benchmarking processes. Data analytics expertise. Software such as Notion and Tableau. Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency. Experience with software used by the Investment Office.
Preferred Competencies
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent writing and concise communication. Strong verbal communication and presentation skills. Organizational skills and ability to manage changing priorities. Exceptional work ethic and adaptability to fast‑paced environments. Interest in portfolio management and institutional investing. Effective teamwork and independent work ability. Professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
Working Conditions
Office Monday–Thursday; optional remote Fridays. Some U.S. travel required.

Pay Range
$122,425.00 – $145,000.00 (salary only). Up to 35% of salary may be eligible for incentive compensation.
