Responsibilities
Maintain and continuously improve wet etch processes in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Monitor process performance, control critical parameters, and troubleshoot yield and quality issues.
Develop and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
Introduce and qualify new processes, tools, and wet etch technologies.
Lead and support process and technology transfers across manufacturing operations.
Participate in cross-functional troubleshooting task forces to resolve complex process issues.
Lead task teams and manage small- to medium-scale projects.
Collaborate closely with Integration and Quality teams to ensure process stability and compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of wet etch process engineering experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of wet etch principles, theories, techniques, and process controls.
Hands‑on experience with Akrion, DNS, SEZ, and/or Semitool wet etch equipment.
Proven organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively in a global, cross‑functional team.
Experience with design of experiments (DOE), data analysis, and statistical tools such as JMP.
Master's or Ph.D. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred.
Six Sigma certification preferred.
Familiarity with PROMIS WIP management systems and JMP statistical software preferred.
Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
