Senior SAP Developer. Candidates can be remote. Resumes MUST be in the template, which is attached to the posting.

Under general direction, instructs, directs, and checks the work of other project engineers. Responsible for developing strategies for technical IT infrastructures and the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. Leads a group of engineers, analysts, and/or technicians assigned for the duration of a project or may function as ongoing lead within a group of engineers associated with one or more technical areas within the telecom function (such as, but not limited to, network design, engineering, implementation, or operations/user support). Does not have formal supervisory responsibilities, although may provide input to performance appraisals.

Required Qualifications / Core Skills

Perform functional analysis, requirements definition, SAP module configuration and testing

Develop functional requirements specifications, data mappings, function mapping, configuration tables, and transaction/control tables

Strong understanding of business processes and flows to analyze business requirements and develop business solutions

SAP Technical Skills (Required)

Strong knowledge of SAP HCM HR modules including OM/PA, eCareer, EHS, etc.

including

ServiceNow

Additional Skills / Experience

Minimum of ten (10) years experience

in software development, database administration, and/or related field

Degree from an accredited College/University

in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred

Ability to perform all functional duties independently

on high-visibility or mission-critical programs

Ability to oversee efforts of direct reporting resources

and/or staff assigned to a specific job

Experience training and mentoring less experienced personnel

Extensive experience designing, implementing, operating, and administering relational DBMSs

Development/support experience with multiple DBMS products

(e.g.,

Oracle ,

SQL Server )

Extensive knowledge of DBMS Job Control Language (JCL) , access methods, performance tuning, device allocation, validation checks, organization, security, documentation, and statistical methods

Ability to recommend appropriate DBM
