R5572**Mechanics Bank** is currently searching for an **Accounts Payable Specialist**to join our team. This role will be working on-site at our Walnut Creek, CA HQ.This role will accurately complete full cycle invoice entry processing into the accounting system.**What you will do:*** Responsible for accurately entering, reviewing and processing vendor invoices in the Accounts Payable system (Fusion) – including invoices with multiple line distributions using an upload excel sheet. Average Volume equaling around 50 to 100 invoices a day.* Process incoming refund checks for deposit (maintain accurate log for records.New vendor file setup and management. Vendor maintenance (update ACH accounts, address, deactivate vendors). Receive and sort incoming mail packages and deliver between the groups in the Finance department. Monitor and order supplies for the department.* Review, code, and enter AP invoices into Fusion (Accounting system) ensuring proper GLs are used during posting process – including invoices with multiple line distributions using the upload excel sheet. Average Volume equaling around 850 invoices a month.**Who you are:*** Associate's Degree or 2 years of relevant additional experience is preferred and may be considered in lieu of a degree.* Minimum of 3 years of Intermediate Level Individual Contributor is required.* Solid experience with GAAP accounting standards and full cycle processing.* 2 plus years of accounting/accounts payable experience is preferred.**ADA Requirements:*** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.* The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
