Responsibilities

Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects

Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings

Prepare drawings and specification documents

Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials

Understanding of healthcare trends

Assist the lead Health Planner in the preparation of presentation drawings, diagrams and narratives

Assist the coordination of all disciplines related to the building design and health planning

Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Architecture

Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, MS Office, Blue Beam)

Architectural registration

A minimum of 5 years of experience within the healthcare architecture field, with 3 years exclusively as a health planner

Advanced credentials desired (e.g. ACHA, LEED, EDAC, etc.)

Must be willing to travel

Preference given to local candidates

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field

A minimum of 3 years experience in A/E industry

Strong organizational skills

Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models

Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and flexible

Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings

California: $99,946 – $168,740; Illinois: $99,946 – $142,780; Massachusetts: $109,032 – $155,760; New York: $113,575 – $162,250; Washington State: $113,575 – $162,250
