Primary Responsibilities
Provide planning, design and coordination support on projects and pursuits.
Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings.
Prepare drawings and specification documents.
Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials.
Apply understanding of healthcare trends.
Prepare health planning presentation drawings, diagrams, and narratives.
Assist the coordination of all disciplines related to the building design and health planning.
Mentor junior staff or other interested colleagues in health planning practices.
Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Architecture.
Minimum 10 years' experience in Health Architecture.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in Health Planning.
Architectural registration.
Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, MS Office, Blue Beam).
Advanced credentials desired (e.g., ACHA, LEED, EDAC, AICP).
Must be willing to travel.
Must have knowledge and experience of healthcare architecture planning and design.
Must be capable of making client presentations.
Leadership and management skills are required.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field.
A minimum of 12 years related experience.
Strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings.
Understanding of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models.
