By offering cutting-edge treatments, innovative research, and a patient-centered approach, we are redefining what’s possible in the fight against cancer and blood disorders.If you want to be part of a growing organization committed to **healing, hope, and advanced care**, join us and help make a meaningful impact!**Job Description:**# ****Medical Scribe- Part Time******Location: Brooklyn, NY****Hours/Days: Tues, Weds, Fri 8.5hr shifts****Organization: New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS)**## ****In this role, you will:***** **Take comprehensive medical histories from patients.*** **Review and assist with provider inbox management and related tasks.*** **Ensure that the provider addresses all lab and radiology results; coordinate with the nursing team as directed by the provider.*** **Ensure the provider completes all required patient forms and documents.*** **Collaborate to maintain efficient workflows within the team.*** **Transcribe in-office visits and phone consultations.*** **Maintain consistent communication with the nursing team to ensure efficient inbox management.*** **Provide patient education on relevant topics.*** **Assist with care management, inbox management, injections, and wound care.*** **Assist with patient intake and preparation in examination rooms.*** **Accompany physicians during patient exams to transcribe histories, physical exams, diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions.*** **Transcribe patient orders, including laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.*** **Document any procedures performed by the physician.*** **Enter all relevant information into the EMR system.**## ****We require:***** **MA Certification or LPN License.*** **At least 1 year of working in an outpatient medical facility.*** **Outstanding computer knowledge.*** **Superb writing and vocabulary skills*** **Excellent communication and organizational skills.*** **Bi-Lingual, English/Spanish a plus.**## ****What we offer:***** **Salary: Starting at $24 per hour based on experience and education****Join us at NYCBS, where we are making strides in healthcare through innovative and compassionate care.****Visit our website at: Nycancer.com****Follow us on Facebook: NYCBS on Facebook****\*New York Cancer and Blood Specialists is an Equal Opportunity Employer.\*** #J-18808-Ljbffr
