BCS Allegient is currently hiring for a Compliance Research Analyst to join our team at the Department of Energy in Washington, D.C. Salary range: $60K-$85K dependent on years of experience Position Overview

The Compliance Research Analyst will support a Department of Energy contract by conducting legal and regulatory research, reviewing program compliance requirements, and synthesizing complex information into clear, concise summaries for senior leadership. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a paralegal or legal research background who is comfortable working independently in a structured, compliance-driven environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage administrative and research tasks while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with federal requirements. Key Responsibilities

Conduct legal, regulatory, and compliance research related to DOE programs, policies, and contractual requirements Review, analyze, and interpret compliance documentation, regulations, and guidance materials Summarize findings and prepare written reports, briefs, and executive-level summaries for senior leadership Maintain and organize program documentation using SharePoint and other document management systems Track compliance-related materials, deadlines, and deliverables to support program requirements Provide general administrative support, including document formatting, recordkeeping, and data organization Collaborate with internal stakeholders while working independently to complete assigned research tasks Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to federal and organizational compliance standards Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience Legal-minded professional with strong analytical and research skills Paralegal background, legal studies, or equivalent experience preferred Experience conducting research and synthesizing complex information into clear summaries Familiarity with compliance, regulatory, or policy-based environments Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience using SharePoint for document management and collaboration Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience supporting federal government or DOE contracts Knowledge of regulatory compliance, program oversight, or government policies Experience preparing materials for executive or senior leadership review Familiarity with administrative processes in a compliance-driven environment Seniority level
