Key Responsibilities

Senior Directors

act as the primary client contacts, translating client needs into project tasks and deliverables.

Manage day‑to‑day problem‑solving and team analytical activities, serving as the key liaison between consulting team members, EY‑Parthenon partners, and clients.

Mentor, inspire, and develop team staff.

Support business growth by collaborating on new opportunities, preparing for pitch meetings, creating proposals, and working on the sales process.

Lead engagements ranging from long‑term strategy development to commercial due diligence, portfolio optimization and new business ventures.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Play a leadership role in growing the EY‑Parthenon business.

Define objective and scope of strategy engagements with partners.

Lead teams in execution of commercial due diligence and strategy engagements.

Develop business strategies using market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization tools.

Drive business development activities in healthcare and across the broader EY‑Parthenon organization.

Manage, develop, and mentor junior team members at all levels.

Develop and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with outstanding academic performance and at least 8 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with approximately 7 years of related work experience.

Experience managing business strategy for healthcare firms in the provider or payer space (biopharma experience is relevant but not sufficient).

Experience leading M&A strategic diligence projects in complex environments.

Strong quantitative skills to supervise data analysis, interpret output, and generate insights.

Ability to conduct detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors, and customers to identify risks and opportunities.

Proficiency in English, including listening, understanding, reading, and effective written and verbal communication in a professional environment.

Willingness and ability to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA with 3–6 years of post‑graduate‑school experience in consulting, operating, or investment banking, focusing on client advisory or strategic planning within a professional services environment.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams on complex assignments and develop individual team members.

Knowledge of leveraging AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

What We Offer

A comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range of $250,000 to $290,000 in all U.S. geographic locations.
