American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring at least 1 year of experience and active IN or compact RN licensure, with tele and PALS certifications.
Responsibilities Work in a short-term acute care hospital within the Medical Surgical unitPatient ratio typically 1:5Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week from 18:00 to 06:30Minimum of 3 weekend shifts required within a 6-week periodPossibility of being placed on call and required to float to other units as neededPatient population includes both adult and pediatric medical surgical casesUses Meditech EMR systemRNs who call in for a shift will be required to make up the shift at a later dateFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyProfessional appearance required; any scrub color permittedLocal candidates accepted if residing within a 50-mile radiusMay care for both adult and pediatric patients on the unit
