Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) night shift position requiring a NC or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent stepdown or telemetry experience.
Responsibilities Work in a progressive care stepdown transitional unit (IMCU) within a hospital setting Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week travel assignment Responsible for delivering intermediate level care to a diverse adult patient population Must adhere to hospital protocols and participate in interdisciplinary team care No references required at the time of consideration First-time travelers are eligible to apply
Requirements Active NC or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent experience in stepdown or telemetry units Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (RQI not accepted) COVID-19 vaccination card required Must provide Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months Cannot hold full-time employment elsewhere Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from the assignment facility
