Flooring Specialist
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours)
Area: 77070
Pay: $17-18hr
Position Overview: Operates hand grinding and small equipment, performs manual labor, joint fill and repair, and handles decorative concrete. This role is within the Operations Concrete Department Key Responsibilities: Perform duties related to concrete grinding, polishing, restoration, and repair, as well as coating applications.
Operate machines and equipment used in the concrete polishing process
Perform basic equipment maintenance and ensure all equipment and materials are stored neatly and orderly
Ensure equipment usage and safety standards are followed per OSHA guidelines.
Support team members on all aspects of the scope of work, including equipment/office and fleet maintenance.
Inspect completed work for any potential quality risk.
Maintain productivity to meet the required project schedule.
Communicate professionally and effectively with crew members.
Requirements & Competencies: Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test
Must be honest, responsible, trustworthy, and hard-working
Bilingual
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Requires strenuous physical work, including heavy lifting, working on hands/knees, pushing or pulling objects, and working in certain dust conditions.
