Installers (Evening Shift)

Job Description Job Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities Install and replace furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits according to manufacturer specifications and local codes. Perform system start-ups, charge refrigerant circuits, and verify proper operation. Fabricate and install sheet metal duct transitions, plenums, and returns. Install and connect thermostats, low- and line-voltage wiring, and condensate management systems. Ensure gas piping is installed and tested per code. protect customers’ property during installations. Assist or train apprentices/helpers on proper installation techniques. Complete installation checklists and required documentation. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience (retrofits & new construction). Familiarity with local Michigan mechanical codes and best practices. Preferred Qualifications NATE certification or other advanced HVAC credentials. Experience with ductless systems, zoning, and high-efficiency variable-speed equipment. Basic sheet metal fabrication skills. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay ($24 - $35/hr DOE) overtime opportunities. Company van, phone/tablet, and fuel card (take-home program may apply).
