Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in Boston, MA. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will support the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high performance standards. Duties include managing staff, monitoring budgets and operational efficiency, implementing policies, and driving service excellence. The AGM will play a key leadership role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring seamless collaboration between departments to achieve business goals.
Qualifications
Proven leadership and team management capabilities with experience in supervising and mentoring staff.
Strong operational knowledge in hospitality, including front desk operations, housekeeping, and food & beverage management.
Financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining high-quality standards.
Proficiency in hotel management software tools and understanding of hospitality industry regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience as a hotel manager or in a similar leadership role is strongly preferred.
