Tax Director
for a client in San Antonio. As the Director of Tax, your responsibilities will include managing tax department functions such as preparing federal and multi-state income tax returns and supporting income tax provisions. Responsibilities
Review federal and multi-state income and franchise tax returns, along with supporting workpapers. Review quarterly estimated tax payments. Address and resolve tax notices and handle other tax-related matters. Prepare calculations for interim and annual income tax provisions. Provide tax information to various departments as needed. Ensure adherence to income tax processes and oversee internal controls. Collaborate with partners on tax planning and process improvements. Supervise a team of staff-level tax accountants. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting. Advanced degree focusing on U.S. taxation (preferred). CPA certification. Minimum 8 years of experience with consolidated U.S. federal and multi-state income tax returns and related accounting. Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance. Details
