Thrizer
Join to apply for the
Chief of Staff
role at
Thrizer
Thrizer operates at the intersection of fintech and healthcare. Our web application serves as a payment processor for providers and a medical biller for patients, bringing speed and transparency to the flow of funds between patients, providers, and insurance so that everyone gets paid fast and reliably. We are an early-stage, fast-growing startup with a small, passionate team dedicated to making a difference in health and wellness.
Overview We're looking for a Chief of Staff to partner closely with our CEO and help accelerate the most important work across the company. This is an execution-focused role designed for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in fast-moving environments, and takes pride in making things work smoothly behind the scenes. No two weeks will look the same. One week you may refine a marketing initiative, the next you may help improve a customer-facing process, and the week after you may support a strategic partnership conversation. If you enjoy solving new problems, learning quickly, and stepping into whatever gap needs filling, you'll excel here.
Duties / Responsibilities
Take ambiguous problems and turn them into structured plans with clear milestones.
Run projects end-to-end: define scope, owners, timelines, and deliverables.
Identify what's broken and propose practical solutions; build what's missing.
Help create clarity and organization across the company as we scale.
Manage the weekly operating cadence: priorities, metrics, prep, follow-ups, and accountability.
Track commitments across teams to ensure progress stays on course.
Build simple, effective systems such as SOPs, dashboards, scorecards, and templates.
Support the CEO in increasing overall execution speed and quality.
Dive into work across different functions when needed—operations, product, marketing, finance, customer success, and more.
Take on tasks that don't neatly belong to a single team but are essential to keeping the business running smoothly, including:
Supporting customer escalations
QA'ing new features
Cleaning up or redesigning operational processes
Completing cross-functional administrative tasks (CRM hygiene, reimbursement audits, documentation, etc.)
Coordinating deliverables and keeping owners unblocked
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Project management excellence – able to organize, plan, and execute across multiple workstreams.
Strong written and verbal communication – clear, concise, and action-oriented.
High learning velocity and ability to adapt quickly.
Strong judgment and discretion; comfortable working with sensitive information.
Reliability, follow-through, and a habit of closing loops.
Comfort operating with imperfect information and changing priorities.
A genuine interest in Thrizer's mission and the mental health ecosystem.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with data analytics or working with metrics.
Familiarity with CRM management, such as Hubspot.
Proficiency in building dashboards or reports in Excel/Sheets.
Prior experience at an early-stage startup.
Background in healthcare or fintech.
EEO Statement The diversity of Thrizer's employees is a tremendous asset. We are firmly committed to providing equal opportunity in all aspects of employment and will not tolerate any illegal discrimination or harassment-based age, race, gender, religion, national origin, disability, marital status, covered veteran status, sexual orientation, status with respect to public assistance, or other characteristics protected under state, federal, or local law and to deter those who aid, abet, or induce discrimination or coerce others to discriminate.
Disclaimer The above is meant to illustrate the general nature of work and level of effort being performed by individuals assigned to this position or job. This is not restricted as a complete list of all skills, responsibilities, duties, and/or assignments required. Individuals may be required to perform duties outside of their position, job or responsibilities as needed.
Salary Range $160,000—$180,000 USD
