Performance Lead – Office of the Chief Operating Officer We are looking for a Performance Lead to support the Chief of Staff and ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the COO’s Office at Equitable. This is a full‑time, mid‑senior level role.

Compensation & Benefits The base salary for this position is $93,000 to $121,000. Eligible employees receive medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. For a detailed description of benefits, please reference the Equitable Total Rewards Program.

Responsibilities

Support preparation for all Board, Committee and senior leadership meetings, including research, summaries and drafting talking points.

Analyze complex data to develop informed recommendations.

Track and monitor projects across the COO organization, including managing workstreams, follow‑up and action trackers.

Manage deliverables and track OKRs to align with organizational goals.

Handle day‑to‑day administrative tasks, including audits and ad hoc research.

Play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency across the executive’s function.

Qualifications

Strong project management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Self‑driven, with the ability to develop and implement solutions with limited guidance.

High integrity, discretion and ability to manage confidential information.

Comfortable navigating fast‑paced, dynamic environments.

Proven ability to leverage Microsoft Office & Project, PowerPoint and Excel (including charts, graphs) to draft executive‑level presentations.

Desired Skills Business Acumen : Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company’s business.

Business Data Analysis : Ability to collect, identify, analyze and interpret business data using various techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
