Group Sales Manager – Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park Join the team at Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park and help shape the future of our mid‑market business! We’re seeking a thoughtful, driven Sales Manager who loves cultivating partnerships, designing solutions, and elevating the guest experience.

This role is eligible for Omni’s Work From Home Program. After 90 days of employment, Sales Managers will be eligible to earn up to 2 WFH days and a potential 3rd if you are over 100% of your YTD goal, subject to the GM/DOSM’s discretion and additional guidelines.

Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta within the bustling Centennial Park District, the hotel offers views of the spectacular skyline and the picturesque Centennial Olympic Park. It is connected to Philips Arena, the Georgia World Congress Center, and is the closest hotel to the Mercedes‑Benz Stadium. Responsibilities

Adhere to all written standard operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, and oral instructions.

Meet or exceed weekly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, targets and initiatives.

Develop, actively solicit, and map group business accounts per defined territory.

Maintain a complete database of accounts in defined territories.

Identify and qualify potential prospects through telemarketing, tradeshows, sales blitzes and other initiatives.

Maximize outcomes of all sales initiatives by following up on leads and identifying additional opportunities.

Follow all Group Sales Standards of Operation and policies and procedures, completing necessary forms and correspondence.

Convey rate and package information within approved limits to maximize and protect resort revenue yields.

Represent The Power of One and Omni Hotels professionally to clients and prospects.

Maintain relationships with customers, GSO, trade, industry, and staff.

Promote all Omni Properties and cross‑sell the brand, memberships, and other resort relationships.

Work closely with Convention Services, Reservation Sales, and other departments to ensure successful meeting experiences.

Perform other tasks as needed to ensure effective resort operation.

Qualifications

University degree in business, communications, hotel management, or related field preferred but not required.

2–3 years of sales experience in large box, luxury hotel, or event sales.

Experience with cold‑call solicitation, contract closing, site inspections/visits, fam trips, and contract negotiations.

Participation in OBCR development training and ongoing Omni Hotels & Resorts training.

Current knowledge of relevant computer software and equipment.

Working knowledge of all resort departments and amenities.

Regular participation in all sales meetings and line‑ups.

Strong problem‑solving, aggressive selling, closing skills, and teamwork.

Submit SMART Plans & Development Goals, and Market Place Action Plans yearly.
