What We Need We are looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to play a key role in driving financial planning, forecasting, and business performance analysis to support strategic decision‑making. This position will partner closely with operations, accounting, and executive leadership to deliver insights that enhance profitability, efficiency, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development of the company’s annual planning process and monthly forecasts.
Own the long‑term planning model, partnering closely with Corporate Development and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to support scenario analysis and other strategic initiatives.
Work cross‑functionally to improve forecast accuracy by gathering and interpreting financial and operational data.
Provide detailed analysis of monthly and quarterly results, highlighting key trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
Prepare executive‑level reports and dashboards to communicate financial performance and operational KPIs.
Analyze job‑level profitability, project margins, and cost trends to identify operational efficiencies.
Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, and Accounting teams to ensure financial integrity and alignment with business goals.
Support leadership in strategic initiatives such as pricing analysis, capital investments, and growth opportunities.
Serve as a financial liaison to regional and branch managers, translating financial insights into actionable strategies.
Enhance existing reporting and forecasting tools; implement best practices for data accuracy and consistency.
Streamline financial processes and automate recurring analyses where possible.
Support ERP and BI system optimization for improved financial visibility.
Support the weekly update process for 13‑week cash forecasting, own the excel model roll‑forward and updates, and assist with EBITDA to cash‑flow reconciliation and bridge analyses.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
3–5 years of progressive financial analysis, FP&A, or related finance experience, preferably in restoration, construction, field services, or a project‑based environment.
Investment banking or financial due diligence experience is highly desirable.
Skills That Will Make You Successful In This Role
Advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation skills.
Proficiency with ERP and reporting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Viewpoint).
Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) strongly preferred.
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of interfacing with executives and non‑financial stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
