Senior Manager, Technical Delivery – Patient Digital Next
Patient Digital Next is the team helping DaVita model the way for patient care. Our team guides the web and mobile technology direction for patient‑facing applications. As the Sr Manager, Technical Delivery, you will play a key role in leading and mentoring teams tasked with designing, building, testing, deploying, supporting, and standardizing high‑functioning solutions within DaVita IT.
Base Pay Range $115,000.00/yr - $183,000.00/yr

Summary of Key Focus Areas
Manage and execute projects within the Patient Digital Next organization.
Lead, mentor and grow a team of scrum masters, software engineers, QA and support staff.
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning and technical excellence.
Support career development, performance management, and hiring for technical roles.
Manage vendor relationships and technical integrations with third‑party services.
Partner with Product, Scrum Master and Technical Leads to ensure velocity, resource allocation, backlog health and user experience.
Guide technical decision‑making and architecture in collaboration with technical leads and architects.
Ensure adoption of modern development practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing and observability.
Identify root causes and drive effective solutions through to completion.
Apply a product mindset to understand user behavior and improve web experience.
Leverage technical understanding of custom build applications on GCP.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assure flawless execution of IT projects.
Define priorities, manage planning, execution and monitoring for successful program conclusion.
Monitor program performance, manage risk and develop mitigation plans.
Communicate and escalate program status to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
Passion for digital transformation.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in senior project or application development management.
5+ years of successful management and solution delivery of cross‑functional projects and programs.
Experience with GitLab, JIRA, Confluence, Excel, Smartsheets & Apptio Target Process.
Strong professional background in Agile development and project management.
Competence in product delivery life cycles and optimization best practices.
Technical aptitude for custom build applications on GCP with hands‑on experience.
Excellent problem‑solving, conflict‑resolution, written and oral communication skills.
Mastery of tracking and managing multiple projects with diverse cross‑functional resources.
Additional Desired Skills
Relationship building to foster innovation and collaboration.
Rapid grasp of technology concepts and effective communication with external teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work under tight deadlines with an iterative design process.
Knowledge of other SDLC methodologies (Agile, CICD, SaFe, CDD, Kanban, etc.).
Healthcare industry experience (preferred).
